All the grandkids were visiting for Thanksgiving. Before dinner, Grandma made a lengthy speech about being thankful for her extra-special blessings, her four grandchildren.Two seconds after she stopped speaking, all hell broke loose and the kids were yelling and grabbing for the home-made rolls.Grandma sat there, eyes closed with a tight squint on her face.
When asked what was the matter, she replied, “I’m just praying for a little patience to handle all these blessings.”

…la, pagbigyan mu na poh..who knows tomgutz na talaga sila…hehehe…
kidz today,,,, haiz….. hayaan nio lola, pagtanda nila ganian din cla,,, maintindihan din po ila kau,,, having children and grandchildren to share our life with is really one of the most beautiful gift god can give us….
now i know if san nanggaling ang quotation na “patience is a virtue”kay lola pla…hehehe!
not all blessings will give us benefits in an instant. sometimes we need to be patient in waiting for it to bloom for us to get our bennefits from it…. Patience is a virtue that needs to be practiced….
isa lang ang ibig sabihin mnun mahusajy magluto c lola…at jung jjung pasensya nya mahaba kaysa sa lola ko…..pero lola tawa lang para di mapansin ung mga guhit sa noo
grandma,..pagpasensyahan niyo na poh..mga chikiting patrol eh..ganun talaga..mainipin..lalo na pag alam nila masarap ang food…hirap na baka maubussan pa sila..heheks…

honestly, i’m not sure if its funny or insulting(what the kids did)., still trying to see the message behind lola’s statement.
be thankful na lang lola.. pag nawala sila, mamiss mo rin yung kaingayan nila.. ^^, at least they made you happy..
Thanks Giving.
thanks giving is the time of the year where you reminisce the whole year that has just past in your life. it is not bad to have a lengthy speech. but she doesn’t consider the fact that there’s children who’ll listen. no matter how beautiful the speech are, but in the minds of the child they dont bother it for now and all they want is to enjoy. if u want to share you blessings, give it another way around. it is not only the christmas eve is the time to be thank for HIM but every we must be thankful on how great or small things that happen in your life.

grandma should be really thankful that God gave her grandchildren….kindda normal nmn tlaga sa mga kids na mging makulit….c grandma kc…mgspeech ba naman ng pakahaba…sinu ba naman d gutumin dun…grandma should be thankful coz her grandchildren appreciate her rolls…sa mga chikitings…be patient…owkiee…
many of us doesn’t really know the meaning of patience. sure waiting is loneliness but patience is never equivalent to waiting which many of us percieve so… patience is believing that something, the thing you desire, will happen in its perfect timing.
we are too impatient with the things around us without realizing that the more we immerse ourselves with the same pleasure this society offer us without even thinking if what the society offers you is what you really want. in the end you are loosing your identity.
ibig ko lng sabihin, why go with the world. allow time for you to consider what really is pleasure for you-patiently- maipasok lng…. hehehe

though we know that grandma was quite impatient with those kids,..grandma is so thankful for all the blessings that she had endured through out her life!!! hehe
just like grandma, we should always be thankful for wathever God had given us, either good or bad!!!
lola..kids are really like that..even me ..i find it hard to look after my lil siblings..pagtumanda sila they will realize na dapat finesse na attittude nila.
hahahaha…… ang cute, it reminds me of the same scene sa bahay kapag masarap yung nakahain sa table….. PG?!!! hahaha
Even if we care enough to appreciate every little details in our lives there will be still moments that we cannot tolerate matters at the impulse. Its true that every time that we feel weak and puzzled, let it pause awhile and say a prayer that we may be able to surpass little and big trials in our lives.

huhuhu…wala lang i just remember nung mga bata pa kami,parang kami yung apo ni lola,…i also remember my lola,(mamachu) kahit sobrang kulit namin nun napakahaba ng pasensya nya…
binibigay nya lahat ng gusto namin…ganun lang siguro pag bata hindi mo maaapreciate yung mga bagay na ginagawa sau..pero once you grow up dun mo lang marerealize yung mga bagay na they did para maging masaya tayo…
kung blessing tayo…xempre blessing din cla satin…

tas malamang ang bagal moh pa magsalita..(thunders n kxe) hehehe…

kung ako ikaw, maglalatag ako ng chenes, sat with them while eating & poof,(it beacame koko crunch) hahahah joke lang… hav a dynamic conversation…presto… ang ending tulog kayong lahat….

wen i was juist a kid she asked me if i wud like to eat halohalo…
‘coz i really love halo-halo, i said ‘yes!”
nyenye!!nagpakuha ng maraming buko, nilagayan ng yelo at gatas at asukal…presto!! halo-halo ‘daw!’
(malayo kasi ang palengke as an excuse..)

we’re all listening to my lola’s drama(ahihi..)then suddenly one of my lil cousins shouted out:”LOLA,SI JJ,AYAW AKO BIGYAN NG CAKE..”..patawa lang kc may lola’s always telling me..”sana abutan ko pa magiging apo ko sa tuhod sau,”..eh sa mga pinsan ko palang sumusuko na xa..wat more pa sa mga kids ko in te future,,haha..

good thing that lola never forget to thank God for all of the blessings she received. it’s quite interesting because i see some sort of a twist about the story.

Another cute and nice story. I wished I was one of those grandchildren. It makes me remember of my late grandmother from my mother side and my grandmother from my fatherside. They really keep their temper for us their grandchildren.
Hehehe… nakarelate po ako dun, ganyang ganyan po ang lola ko sa province. Lalo ko lang po siyang naaalala dahil sa story na yan.

grandparents always wanted to have the best and equal of all things among their grandchildren, whether it is food, love,and even a single blessing, kaya let’s appreciate and love them the way they did to us,,,
there are moments that can never be fleeting..

Everyday should be a thanksgiving day. Whether you’ll believe me of not, I always see to it that I’ll say a lot of thanks to God for what he has given to me, to my family, to my friends, and to all the people. Being grateful should be the first thing we should do every morning we wake up. It’s a way of counting your blessings. It’s also a way for us to realize that God has given us all the things we need and it is the time wherein we should return all those things to Him. =)
im not really familiar with this thanks giving day.. kc nmn we copycat whatever america has, just wondering, what’s the couterpart here in pinas….

kapag masaya tayo at kontento sa mga blessings natin dun tayo lubos na nakakapagpasalamat, kahit minsan na mahirap din pangalagaan at ipundar ang mga ito, pero ayos lang diba parte iyan ng masayang buhay!
