While walking down the street one day a Philippine senator is tragically hit by a truck and dies. His soul arrives in heaven and is met by St. Peter at the entrance.
“Welcome to heaven,” says St. Peter. “Before you settle in, it seems there is a problem. We seldom see a high official around these parts, you see, so we’re not sure what to do with you.”
“No problem, just let me in,” says the senator.
“Well, I’d like to, but I have orders from the higher ups. What we’ll do is have you spend one day in hell and one in heaven. Then you can choose where to spend eternity.”
“Really, I’ve made up my mind. I want to be in heaven,” says the senator.
And with that, St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell. The doors open and he finds himself in the middle of a green golf course. In the distance is a clubhouse and standing in front of it are all his friends and other politicians who had worked with him.
Everyone is very happy and in evening dress. They run to greet him, shake his hand, and reminisce about the good times they had while getting rich at the expense of the people. They play a friendly game of golf and then dine on lobster, caviar and champagne.
Also present is the devil, who really is a very friendly guy who is having a good time dancing and telling jokes.
They are all having such a good time that before the senator realizes it, it is time to go. Everyone gives him a hearty farewell and waves while the elevator rises. The elevator goes up, up, up and the door reopens in heaven where St. Peter is waiting for him, “Now it’s time to visit heaven.”
So, 24 hours pass with the senator joining a group of contented souls moving from cloud to cloud, playing the harp and singing. They have a good time and before he realizes it, the 24 hours have gone by and St. Peter returns.
“Well, then, you’ve spent a day in hell and another in heaven. Now choose your eternity.”
The senator reflects for a minute, then he answers: “Well, I would never have said it before, I mean heaven has been delightful, but I think I would be better off in hell.”
So St. Peter escorts him to the elevator and he goes down, down, down to hell.
Now the doors of the elevator open and he’s in the middle of a barren land covered with waste and garbage. He sees all his friends, dressed in rags, picking up the trash and putting it in black bags as more trash falls from above.
The devil comes over to him and puts his arm around his shoulders.
“I don’t understand,” stammers the senator. “Yesterday I was here and there was a golf course and clubhouse, and we ate lobster and caviar, drank champagne, and danced and had a great time. Now there’s just a wasteland full of garbage and my friends look miserable. What happened?”
The devil smiles at him and says, “Yesterday we were campaigning…Today, you voted.”
i have to say this although it hurts you know “the story best fit those official whom during the election make faces like they are angels sent by god from heaven or they are the saviour, the redeemer then when you vote for them then they won when you come to their office for help they will just dump you like a hot potato!”
political campaign period seems like a heaven para sa mga taong pumapayag magbenta ng kanilang mga bOto.. but in the end, they were still the one who sacrificed it.. after this campaign period, impyerno parin and bagsak nla..

it described the life of politicians because some of them enjoy their power and money of people… they govern us that makes our life more miserable like the story happened when the politician voted him…
thats the lesson behind bad things na gagawin natin….masmalaki nga naman ang bawi sa huli……dapat talaga matutu na tayo…… lets fight for the right…. mabuhay!!mabuhay!!!(magrally daw ba dito) ha ha ha
sir,, what a beautiful short story,.. pinapakita lang how politics dirty is, grabe ang daming plastik!! well, it make us realize kung anung klaseng basura ang nangyayari ngaun sa sistema..and also pwede mong i consider ung senator na voter, pinipili lang kung saan mas magkakarun ng plessure, pero sa huli,, magigising sya sa impyerno dahil sa maling decision..

wow, ang galing..
sa bagay.. its tru naman eh!!!
pag campaign period puro positive ang sinasabi ng mga politicians,,campaign dun campaign dito,,,kanya kanyang tactics to get the symphaty of the people,, but after that, what happen?
still,gnun parin…
mga pangako,,napapako,,,
hahaha.. a funny story..
so simple but have a deep meaning…Sir what is really sad is that we are living with a lot of needs and wants..we dont look to the other side of that “masaganang buhay”…hehe.. For me your story is a simple way of saying…”nangyayari na yan..kilatisin mo nalang..”
the story depicts the political situation here in our country. it hurts but truth bites us that most politicians are good at making promises and after wining, people are left with only hope. i’m not saying that all politicians are of this type, most of them.
BAGAY YAN SA MGA SAKIM!!!!sa totoo lang I hate politics…dahil sa naranasan ko last 2007 barangay and sk election, I am a supporter of LAban KAbataang Sumusulong a.k.a.
hay.. naka2lungkot aman un, knowing na politics is not dirty and the only thing that makes politics dirty are the politicians. being a polsci student we’re trying so hard to established a state wer thereit is much organized and the leader is being loved at the same time being feared..
it only shows the reality in our country..walang duda yan sir..walang pagangat sa kalidad ng sistema..tsk3..antayin nyo po ako..ako magtatayo ng bandera ng pilipinas…awooo..awooo.awooo..
galing….it simply describes the present system of our country…people, being fooled, and politicians, who are taking advantage of the innocence of the people…both parties obviously ang may problema…sana lng a lot of people would realize that…hehe..pra wlang magssuffer s huli…:p
i don’t believe in heaven or hell. . .
but i am obliged to comment so. . .
i think that is the result of being extremely greedy, of trying to get on the easy way of living. . . gudluck kay politician. . .
politicians and devils?..is’nt that the same?..joke lang.. pero pg sobrang gahamn k tlg sa impyerno k tlg!.. you should learn to give to others.. sbi ni ate na katabi q.. ng suggest sya.. pakialamera kc.. joke lang.. pr humaba lang..
it was so brutal that politicians today were closely compared to a devil. but i think mdyo totoo nman un… pero di pa dn tlga lhat ng politician ay masama… my mbait p dyn…
-the devil will always be in campaign for us human to be at our worst!!! they’ll use everything that we want to do or achieve…
-it might be boring in heaven but there you will find true peace.
politics is not dirty but the people behind politics makes it dirty….so every election choose leaders that willl serve their best inorder to provide basic services for the people and will protesct our rights….nice story….i wish that our leaders today have a chance to read this story…..
….it only manifest that most of our public servant nowadays doesn’t really know their roles in our society…sad to say, but it’s a big, big shame on their part…how i wish there will come a strange man who will preach them and made them realize all their wrong deeds…never hold responsible the system in our government, blame those HANDs running our system..
hai… ganyang ganyan dito…. no wonder ganito ang buhay natin… the devil has many tricks on his pocket… kaia dapat magingat tayo lahat,, wag basta basta magdecide… learn to live wise!!!!
politics never been dirty, the people behind it makes it dirty…so better to choose the right one to sit on the position in the government…use your head not ur pocket!
The story was good… and I find two great lessons here…one is on how we should choose between what we want and what is right and the other one is that “hindi lahat ng maganda sa mata, maganda” as another lesson says “looks can be deceiving”. And just like that politician most people go with what they want and madalas sa pagpili ng tao mata lang ang gamit nila….
nice story/article…at first u wouldn’t see the real message of the story…parang ordinary lang…but then behind it is a more meaningful message or lesson that the story wants us to realized…material things are really deceiving…we should be wise on choosing the right candidate….our future lies on our hands…we should be cautious from those traditional politicians….hirap kc sa tao…ma alok lang ng mga material n bagay eh bumubigay na…we should learn from our past mistakes.
I must say..”hell’s territory” in that story will surely lure many people..that’s a political strategy..to keep your people on your side..you must provide water to ease their thirst… who wouldn’t be lured to prosperous and bountiful festivities??? we must admit that politicians are not the only people who will get attracted to it. That is why people should not give in so easily to too much richness because for all we know we would end up in a pool of garbage.
on the other hand..we should not generalize that politicians who offers goodness have an evil agenda. There are still people, I believe, that do good things not just to fool people but to show sincerity. Not all politicians are greedy..I hope.
To have a good government, it requires too way process. Politicians should be sincere in what they advocate and offer. And people should be vigilant on who’s from heaven and who’s from hell.
I know all of us have learned our lessons from the past… but it is a fact that a clean government cannot exist in a corrupt society, marami pa rin sa atin ang pabaya kasi they dont give their share in fighting against corruption…. Our country has become a very dangerous arena for politics not because of bad politicians but because of good politicians who keep their eyes shut on corruption….
In the bible the Devil wears a different mask to manipulate people, pursue them of the nicest things on earth… and many people believes in him so they go along with him and his worldly activities…… only to discover that all is superficial and fake! Because after the delightful festivities will be a fires of hell everywhere.
hummph,…
buti nga dun sa senator hehehe,…
well it is true naman eh during campaign periods lang naman magaganda ugali ng ibang politicians!!!!
heheh,..
but not all of our politicians are bad, for there are some who really did their work,..
I think I’ve read it already from different news paper before the midterm poll was materialized..
But anyway, I hope that this story will not reflect in general to all politicians, after all, it’s a case-to-case basis..
We get the government we deserve – that’s the essence of democracy.. If the electorates accepts bribe and that serves as their sole basis of writing somebody’s name in the official ballot, then expect a government run by officers who are likewise influence by bribe which serves as their guide in policy making..
Evil triumphs when good men do nothing.. I hope that this story will not cause hopelessness in our people. There must something we can do about the present problems.. But somehow, I believe that the government-people relationship is like street traffics.. The government serves as traffic light or the good old traffic officers while the people are the vehicles.. The vehicles can be in good conditions depending upon how its owner handles the same; while the movements of the vehicles depends upon how well the traffic officers manage the flow. Just like the vehicles, the people can be in good conditions or live a good life upon their own initiatives. But still, the general progress, just like the flow of traffic depends upon the hand of those in the government.
Those names we wrote in our official ballot will serve as our voice in the political arena, granted that they win. They will represent our sentiments.
It took my mind to think a logical conclusion at the very end of the story. I think this story will motivate the politicians to stop and kill the corruption that they are doing when they read this! that the hell is open to those POLITICIANS who are making idiot things in the govrnment. Maybe it’s because of practicality why some politicians do entrance in the world of politics. But whatever they interpret politics on their own way It’s still the darkness and the dirty image is the reflection of politics in our country. I hope their conscience kills them to stop corrupting the money of people.
a very interesting story… i can’t believe that a witty devil would say the best statement in the story….The devil smiles at him and says, “Yesterday we were campaigning…Today, you voted.” Few words but is handful in thoughts.
we can compare the situation of the politician to some, or maybe more than the majority ( i think but not hope so), of Filipinos who are not aware of the right way of voting… i don’t know if i am in a right place to say this.. but Filipinos would be ranked poor when it comes to voting.. first, because most of us do not vote..second, most of us vote from the basis of luxury… people tend to look at the extravagance and luxuries that some power-greedy creatures are fronting to them..they do not know that these things are just the facade of a greedy machine that would waste their trusts and malversate the country’s resources…. as to some who do not vote… just like what i said in my article in KILOSPUP wordpress, they choose to do nothing, say nothing and as a result, contribute nothing… we should all remember that.. bad officials are voted by good citizens who do not vote….
“Yesterday we were campaigning.. Today you are voted..” it really makes a big sense in our country today..
just imagine some of the politicians that are on seat right now, for some real and honest politicians public service is their motive, but for others they just want to filled their pockets with the money that should be allocated for public use..
the story as we can say tackles about the scenario that is happening during the campaigning period, were the good sides of the politicians are been boost up and so the people will be convince that politician is worth it of their votes.. but eventually after the campaigning and the election, you only end up seeing that your vote was just been wasted.. the story also tells us that we should be wise voters.. because Filipinos are not critical in making decisions like this.. come to think of its not only our future is in the hands of these politicians but as well as the future generations
the story is very well crafted…i hope other politicians and “student leaders should reflect on it…”
politicians have their own style and tactics para makuha ang loob ng mga tao during election..
it is indeed a hard thing to choose kung sino ang tapat at responsableng leader. because most of the time once they were elected, they tend to over use their power.
but i know meron pa ring macoconsider n good politician..
nice story! sana mabasa to ng lahat ng mga politician na nagpretent na magaling sila at kaya nilang tulungan ang mga tao sa kahirapan, but after nilang maluklok, lalo nilang pinaghihirap ang tao! kainis………… Mr senator you deserved to be there…… hahaha
wow… ang galing ng analogy ng istorya… I might say that the same situation happens in our country every election time… Those traditional politicians will let the peple see every good traits and every beautiful gimmicks, and prmises to the people… As soon as those people who had been enticed by those make faces, they thought these pe
ople desrve the public office eventually votin for them… But really, how did the Philppines end up until today? Rugged, Misarable, Almost hopeless… That sory should imprint in the minds of evry Filipino voters that what you see, is not what we usually get… Rather, it’s the other way around… That’s why it’s Called “TRICK”— in order for us to deceive, the devil’s way>>>>
the story could be a must read for everyone who’s aspiring for office.. . and a best recommendation for those who wanted to reflect on something.. .
.. .only those righteous politicians would lead to the realization that the luxury of life can never be defined by what is tangible.. .There are a lot of devils in the office who welcomes every new guy’ most would show them the easiest way to survive, that is by deceiving the people’ corrupting their every possible possession for them to enjoy.. .
.. .remember the lil’ prince? what is essential is invisible to the eye.. .
lagi naman kc sinasabi, kelangan mu muna mahirapan before u could experience happiness..
when one is campaigning, he puts his best foot forward to win the hearts of the constituents… but once he is elected into office, his real color shows…
Tulad sa election, everyone is showing their best faces and wishing that everyone will remember them when they vote. The one who makes the biggest impression is the winner. Yan ang problema nating mga Pilipino, we never learn from our mistakes. But we should never loose hope kasi someday lahat ng tao ay matatauhan if the people will start to observe and be critical thinkers. We don’t need actors but real leaders that want change for the betterment of the people and country
from bechai of 4-2…
hello to my mom…to all TFC subscribers…
(haha…watamidoin’???)
“not all that glitters is gold”
well,i just want to type down the phrase…hekhek…
the article is a reflection of how people were often carried by the outer…how materialistic people are…
just like the senator in the article…he was easily driven by his desires for pleasure…and see where it had taken him…to the place he haven’t imagine himself being present….
wow.. i wish everyone could read this.,. especially the politicians to realize that it was hell voting them only to find out that they are selfish, luxurious and egotistic..
hope the Filipino people will not follow mr. senator’s basis of voting. pangalan pa lang ng “candidate” bulok na, but still he opt to “vote” for that candidate. nabili yung boto nya.
I really appreciated the story. It was nice like the others. It shows that humans, even in death continue to search for the luxury and materialism of this world. But in the end, it shows the real essence of serving and being in the position. For me, as an aspirant for the next generation, it really pushes me to continue my desires to serve my fellows and to change the system that we are now experiencing.
I really appreciated the story…sabi sa aken ng taga Youth for christ.. heaven is full of suprises and happiness..para sa aken hell is a fake and illusion made by the devil… Jesus said dont let your left hand know what the right is doing..di ba? because iin hell the devil made it to be realistic and to tempt you! while in heaven.. it is full of suprises and become an holy angel in heaven..
decide wisely.. kung ano ung alam nting tama dun tau.. we should not let anyone influence our decisions.. maraming mapagpanggap na nilalang ang nkakalat sa paligid! we should not allow them to decieve us..
be ready to face all the outcomes of your decisions..
a typical politian is actually a devil inside..they hav such lovely faces and sweet gestures, well hell s d most appropriate place 4 them..f i wud have a chance i’l do it alone.u
..saten ba toh..?? sakto kse..! well lesson toh s mga taong mdaling mpniwala ng mga nkkita nla without scrutinizing the real situation… we must vote for the ryt candidate..sbi nga its not about us.. kung gusto man nten ung candidate for watever personal rison.. hindi lng tau ang citizen ng bansa so we must think of the beneficialty of the majority.. we must vote for the advantage of the country… pro panu nga ba pumili ng tmang kandidato.. ?? cnu ba tlga ang totoo s nagppanggap lng.. politics is not rily dirty.. pero s panahon ngaun kya pb nten sbhin yan..???

we should not always go and find the easiest way,.
burdens and hardships would definitely make us more satisfied..
wag taung maggive-in sa isang bgay dhil lng mganda xa or mukang madali..coz if u do,in the end, you’ll notice na wala k ring nakuhang mganda..^_^

sobra n mga politicians!!!!they are all EGOCENTRIC..,hmp!!!!!
dapat s kanila dalawin ni LUCIFER eh..,
Bwahahahaha=0
it really hurts to face the reality about our political system…
but i think we should no longer blame alone those ‘angels-in-disguise’ who kept on promising and promising a better future… well,, that’s their nature…
because the main problem now,, with the very degrading situation that the Filipinos are experiencing,, lies with how we react-and-act to the happenings around us… we just keep on complaining,, but we never do something…
it’s like the venom of the most venomous snake is no longer poisonous to us,, Filipinos… are we immuned then??…
Kung ibabatay natin ito sa pilipinas, ang senator ay sumisimbulo sa isang botante at ang heaven at hell ay siyang kandidato, heaven simbolizes politician that actually has this heart contentment and hell simbolizes politician that will promise everything but after you choosed them, they’ll just give you a slum, miserable and wasteful life…
i have to say this although it hurts you know “the story best fit those official whom during the election make faces like they are angels sent by god from heaven or they are the saviour, the redeemer then when you vote for them then they won when you come to their office for help they will just dump you like a hot potato!”

yeah!!!its true sir and its reality you know ganyan tlg kadumi ang politics hir in the philippines noh…………….puro pakitang tao lng lht para ivote cla.

pag campaign period puro positive ang sinasabi ng mga politicians,,campaign dun campaign dito,,,kanya kanyang tactics to get the symphaty of the people,, but after that, what happen?
still,gnun parin…
mga pangako,,napapako,,,
the article is beautiful.. very inspiring.. its true and its pretty obvious that its happening in the political scene of our country..
Life certainly has it’s ups and downs.. and judgement day is yet to come,so spread your wings and fly..and vote wisely!haha..
hahaha.. a funny story..
experience is the best teacher..if you have been fooled before by those “people”, be wiser now..vote wisely!
the article is indeed a reflection of the politics in the philippines, dirty.
so simple but have a deep meaning…Sir what is really sad is that we are living with a lot of needs and wants..we dont look to the other side of that “masaganang buhay”…hehe..
BAGAY YAN SA MGA SAKIM!!!!sa totoo lang I hate politics…dahil sa naranasan ko last 2007 barangay and sk election, I am a supporter of LAban KAbataang Sumusulong a.k.a.
the story was very striking..
hay.. naka2lungkot aman un, knowing na politics is not dirty and the only thing that makes politics dirty are the politicians. being a polsci student we’re trying so hard to established a state wer thereit is much organized and the leader is being loved at the same time being feared..
it only shows the reality in our country..walang duda yan sir..walang pagangat sa kalidad ng sistema..tsk3..antayin nyo po ako..ako magtatayo ng bandera ng pilipinas…awooo..awooo.awooo..
galing….it simply describes the present system of our country…people, being fooled, and politicians, who are taking advantage of the innocence of the people…both parties obviously ang may problema…sana lng a lot of people would realize that…hehe..pra wlang magssuffer s huli…:p
i don’t believe in heaven or hell. . .
but i am obliged to comment so. . .
i think that is the result of being extremely greedy, of trying to get on the easy way of living. . . gudluck kay politician. . .
politicians and devils?..is’nt that the same?..joke lang.. pero pg sobrang gahamn k tlg sa impyerno k tlg!.. you should learn to give to others.. sbi ni ate na katabi q.. ng suggest sya.. pakialamera kc.. joke lang.. pr humaba lang..
it was so brutal that politicians today were closely compared to a devil. but i think mdyo totoo nman un… pero di pa dn tlga lhat ng politician ay masama… my mbait p dyn…
-the devil will always be in campaign for us human to be at our worst!!! they’ll use everything that we want to do or achieve…
-it might be boring in heaven but there you will find true peace.
i am familiar with the story!
but reading it again gives me more understanding of what it really points out!
politics is not dirty but the people behind politics makes it dirty….so every election choose leaders that willl serve their best inorder to provide basic services for the people and will protesct our rights….nice story….i wish that our leaders today have a chance to read this story…..
nku yan ang mga npapala ng mga ASang tao.. beter lng un to give them the dose of their own medicine. Buti nGa.. nYahahha
one word-ahhh…its all about katusuhan
….it only manifest that most of our public servant nowadays doesn’t really know their roles in our society…sad to say, but it’s a big, big shame on their part…how i wish there will come a strange man who will preach them and made them realize all their wrong deeds…never hold responsible the system in our government, blame those HANDs running our system..
hai… ganyang ganyan dito…. no wonder ganito ang buhay natin… the devil has many tricks on his pocket… kaia dapat magingat tayo lahat,, wag basta basta magdecide… learn to live wise!!!!
politics never been dirty, the people behind it makes it dirty…so better to choose the right one to sit on the position in the government…use your head not ur pocket!
gAnyAn nMn tLaga sa pulitika.. wAlaNg paGbaBago.. !! hAiii…. tsk.. tsk..
The story was good… and I find two great lessons here…one is on how we should choose between what we want and what is right and the other one is that “hindi lahat ng maganda sa mata, maganda” as another lesson says “looks can be deceiving”. And just like that politician most people go with what they want and madalas sa pagpili ng tao mata lang ang gamit nila….
ganun nman tlga in reality db?? i’m not saying n ganun clang lhat. . pero d story happened on some politicians in our country. .
the article was so true……
that proves that looks can really be deceiving….
…..he deserved it….
kaya ayoko bomoto eh,,
kaso required n ngaun bomoto kasi kelngan pag aalis k ng bansa..
:c how sad
that’s the reality sir…all our politicians are corrupt, greedy and liars…..
the story tell’s what is really happening nwaday’s…
nice story/article…at first u wouldn’t see the real message of the story…parang ordinary lang…but then behind it is a more meaningful message or lesson that the story wants us to realized…material things are really deceiving…we should be wise on choosing the right candidate….our future lies on our hands…we should be cautious from those traditional politicians….hirap kc sa tao…ma alok lang ng mga material n bagay eh bumubigay na…we should learn from our past mistakes.
when reality bites… it hurts….
Just remember, we are who we voted for..
Today you are voted..” it really makes a big sense in our country today..
just imagine some of the politicians that are on seat right now, for some real and honest politicians public service is their motive, but for others they just want to filled their pockets with the money that should be allocated for public use..
the story as we can say tackles about the scenario that is happening during the campaigning period, were the good sides of the politicians are been boost up and so the people will be convince that politician is worth it of their votes.. but eventually after the campaigning and the election, you only end up seeing that your vote was just been wasted.. the story also tells us that we should be wise voters.. because Filipinos are not critical in making decisions like this.. come to think of its not only our future is in the hands of these politicians but as well as the future generations
we don’t need politicians, we need leaders..
one of my favorite slogan….maraming mga taong nagprepretend that they are good leaders…but how do we classify them ba…
may sense yung article, dapat politian should read this para marealize nila yung dapat na responsibilities nila satin…
in times of election they used to promise ng mga gagawin nila…but once they are elected..para silang mga bulang nagsilaho..
the story is very well crafted…i hope other politicians and “student leaders should reflect on it…”
sna mbsa 2 n gloria hahaha
mdmeng kulay ang demonyo ngbabait baitan todo pngko tas uala den pla aun… nice story….. =)
i commend this story.. very interesting!
politicians have their own style and tactics para makuha ang loob ng mga tao during election..
it is indeed a hard thing to choose kung sino ang tapat at responsableng leader. because most of the time once they were elected, they tend to over use their power.
but i know meron pa ring macoconsider n good politician..
nice story! sana mabasa to ng lahat ng mga politician na nagpretent na magaling sila at kaya nilang tulungan ang mga tao sa kahirapan, but after nilang maluklok, lalo nilang pinaghihirap ang tao! kainis………… Mr senator you deserved to be there…… hahaha
wow… ang galing ng analogy ng istorya… I might say that the same situation happens in our country every election time… Those traditional politicians will let the peple see every good traits and every beautiful gimmicks, and prmises to the people… As soon as those people who had been enticed by those make faces, they thought these pe
ople desrve the public office eventually votin for them… But really, how did the Philppines end up until today? Rugged, Misarable, Almost hopeless… That sory should imprint in the minds of evry Filipino voters that what you see, is not what we usually get… Rather, it’s the other way around… That’s why it’s Called “TRICK”— in order for us to deceive, the devil’s way>>>>
the story could be a must read for everyone who’s aspiring for office.. . and a best recommendation for those who wanted to reflect on something.. .
.. .only those righteous politicians would lead to the realization that the luxury of life can never be defined by what is tangible.. .There are a lot of devils in the office who welcomes every new guy’ most would show them the easiest way to survive, that is by deceiving the people’ corrupting their every possible possession for them to enjoy.. .
.. .remember the lil’ prince? what is essential is invisible to the eye.. .
lagi naman kc sinasabi, kelangan mu muna mahirapan before u could experience happiness..
love this story..striking..
“looks can be decieving”, mas pinipili natin ang nakikita ng ating mga mata kesa sa bagy na dapat nating tahakin at dapat nating kalagyan…ito ang realidad sa ating pagkatao,we chuz leaders based on their personality kaya bandang huli tayo ang nagsasuffer….HOY GISING….
good thing that this kind of story came up. i appreciate it very well.
it is the painful reality that we’re experiencing in today’s world. that’s why we’re here to make a change…

this is soooooooo true…
when one is campaigning, he puts his best foot forward to win the hearts of the constituents… but once he is elected into office, his real color shows…
Tulad sa election, everyone is showing their best faces and wishing that everyone will remember them when they vote. The one who makes the biggest impression is the winner. Yan ang problema nating mga Pilipino, we never learn from our mistakes. But we should never loose hope kasi someday lahat ng tao ay matatauhan if the people will start to observe and be critical thinkers. We don’t need actors but real leaders that want change for the betterment of the people and country
yes that’s very evident in philippine elections…we were voting based on the campaign periods but not the service.
from bechai of 4-2…
hello to my mom…to all TFC subscribers…
(haha…watamidoin’???)
“not all that glitters is gold”
well,i just want to type down the phrase…hekhek…
the article is a reflection of how people were often carried by the outer…how materialistic people are…
just like the senator in the article…he was easily driven by his desires for pleasure…and see where it had taken him…to the place he haven’t imagine himself being present….
wow.. i wish everyone could read this.,. especially the politicians to realize that it was hell voting them only to find out that they are selfish, luxurious and egotistic..
most of the politicians in this country is just like the main character in this article..
people in this country should realize this…
shame on you mr. senator!
you’re so easy to fool.
hope the Filipino people will not follow mr. senator’s basis of voting. pangalan pa lang ng “candidate” bulok na, but still he opt to “vote” for that candidate. nabili yung boto nya.
ganda ah…..
khit s langit me ganung tao….
a simple story but full of meaning, na tlgang nangy2ri s politics…
i do believe reaching its importance give the people to give responsibility to all the action we made.
Seems it all came back to the politician.. Nagisa sa sariling mantika.. Sad reality folks, but nonetheless real..
MOST POLITICIANS PROMISE HEAVEN, AND YEAH, THAT IS WHAT THEY GIVE TO THE PEOPLE, BECAUSE TO THESE PEOPLE, HELL IS SYNONYMOUS TO HEAVEN.

I really appreciated the story. It was nice like the others. It shows that humans, even in death continue to search for the luxury and materialism of this world. But in the end, it shows the real essence of serving and being in the position. For me, as an aspirant for the next generation, it really pushes me to continue my desires to serve my fellows and to change the system that we are now experiencing.
madumi talaga ang pulitika dats all….
I really appreciated the story…sabi sa aken ng taga Youth for christ.. heaven is full of suprises and happiness..para sa aken hell is a fake and illusion made by the devil… Jesus said dont let your left hand know what the right is doing..di ba? because iin hell the devil made it to be realistic and to tempt you! while in heaven.. it is full of suprises and become an holy angel in heaven..
saka nga not all polticians are bad..ung iba nga dyan eh…corrupt at mandadaya!
decide wisely.. kung ano ung alam nting tama dun tau.. we should not let anyone influence our decisions.. maraming mapagpanggap na nilalang ang nkakalat sa paligid! we should not allow them to decieve us..
be ready to face all the outcomes of your decisions..
a typical politian is actually a devil inside..they hav such lovely faces and sweet gestures, well hell s d most appropriate place 4 them..f i wud have a chance i’l do it alone.u

i already hear that story.. reality knocks.,
I must say
this is how the election take place in the Philippines…
this is a reflection regarding the general characteristic of the politician in our country.
..saten ba toh..?? sakto kse..! well lesson toh s mga taong mdaling mpniwala ng mga nkkita nla without scrutinizing the real situation… we must vote for the ryt candidate..sbi nga its not about us.. kung gusto man nten ung candidate for watever personal rison.. hindi lng tau ang citizen ng bansa so we must think of the beneficialty of the majority.. we must vote for the advantage of the country… pro panu nga ba pumili ng tmang kandidato.. ?? cnu ba tlga ang totoo s nagppanggap lng.. politics is not rily dirty.. pero s panahon ngaun kya pb nten sbhin yan..???

sobra n mga politicians!!!!they are all EGOCENTRIC..,hmp!!!!!
dapat s kanila dalawin ni LUCIFER eh..,
Bwahahahaha=0
it really hurts to face the reality about our political system…
but i think we should no longer blame alone those ‘angels-in-disguise’ who kept on promising and promising a better future… well,, that’s their nature…
because the main problem now,, with the very degrading situation that the Filipinos are experiencing,, lies with how we react-and-act to the happenings around us… we just keep on complaining,, but we never do something…
it’s like the venom of the most venomous snake is no longer poisonous to us,, Filipinos… are we immuned then??…
Kung ibabatay natin ito sa pilipinas, ang senator ay sumisimbulo sa isang botante at ang heaven at hell ay siyang kandidato, heaven simbolizes politician that actually has this heart contentment and hell simbolizes politician that will promise everything but after you choosed them, they’ll just give you a slum, miserable and wasteful life…
wish all of them would go to hell…
a politician is usually a devil db? hehehe,,, peace out!
~BinmaR™
